In case you’re not a fan, Inferno is the name of the next sequel for the DaVinci Code film franchise. And the good news is cameras are expected to roll on the film in April 2015. Inferno will be the next in line for the Ron Howard, Tom Hanks combo with Hanks set to reprise his role as Robert Langdon.
Inferno will see the Professor once again attempting to solve another mystery, this time one that’s tied into Inferno, Dante Alighieri’s 14th century poem. If the rumours are true, expect Inferno to open in cinemas the following year, which is quite a lengthy wait considering Angels & Demons was released in 2009.
Will this be a case of a little too late for the franchise?
