One of the best basketball films ever made is now on the remake list in Hollywood. White Men Can’t Jump is set for a rebound with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris. The 1992 sports classic starred Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes as a pair of street basketball hustlers who decide to pair up to roll in some huge cash. We’re not sure how fans will gravitate towards the news of this remake though as the original was rather good and still holds up a fair bit on replays.
Deadpool Characters To Return

No CGI Leia
Following the death of Carrie Fisher there was speculation on how Disney and Lucasfilm will intend to continue the evolution of the new Star Wars trilogy. But an official release from Lucasfilm has confirmed that the studio has no plans to digitally recreate Carrie Fisher’s performance as Princess or General Leia Organa. Fisher has filmed her part for Star Wars 8, so we’ll see the good princess once more but it looks as if Leia will have no part to play in Episode 9, which is a shame indeed.
Mad Max: The Wasteland
Despite being a huge success in both critical and commercial form, there hasn’t been any substantial news regarding the sequel to Mad Max. Now though, star Tom Hardy has confirmed he will return as the titular character in Mad Max: The Wasteland. George Miller is expected to return to the director’s seat once more so it will be interesting to see where Miller and Hardy will steer this post-apocalyptic franchise towards the near future.
