It looks like Andrew Garfield has spun his last web as Spider-Man because Sony and Marvel are now looking at an all-new wall-crawler. And, under the new franchise direction being orchestrated by both Marvel and Sony, the new Spidey will be sent back to high school. According to various reports, Logan Lerman who starred in both Percy Jackson films and Fury is one of the front runners to play the new wall-crawler alongside Dylan O’Brien who was recently seen in The Maze Runner. However, reports are also rampant that both Disney and Marvel haven’t discounted the fact that the new Spider-Man could also be Miles Morales as opposed to Peter Parker.

With Star Wars: The Force Awakens hitting cinemas at the end of this year, legendary filmmaker Mel Brooks has been inspired to make a follow-up to his science-fiction spoof with Spaceballs 2. Apparently the director wants to reunite star Rick Moranis and Daphne Zuniga for the sequel, which should please fans of the cult classic comedy. However, at 88-years-old, it could be difficult for the director to helm the film. That said though, despite his age, Brooks has been keeping busy by participating in a number of projects including lending his voice as Vlad in Hotel Transylvania 2.

Universal Pictures stepped into a comedic goldmine with Neighbors, which became one of 2014’s biggest box-office comedies. Now, it seems apparent the studios want to milk the film by turning it into a franchise by reuniting Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Zac Effron for Neighbors 2. The sequel is currently slated for a release in Summer 2016 with director Nick Stoller returning to helm the film.

    SHERLOCK CHRISTMAS SPECIAL
SherlocksBenedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are back to reprising their roles as Sherlock Holmes and Watson for the Sherlock Christmas Special. And it looks like it’s going to be special with a little throwback to the past judging by the garb both gentlemen have been spotted in.
