According to recent reports, the film could be a spin-off from the original but will hold the same qualities like the 2001 film. The ensemble heist movie, which was a remake of the 1960s original starring the rat pack, garnered rave reviews upon its release, which is why an all-female reboot doesn’t seem like a bad idea at all.

According to reports, John Wick 2 will peel back the layers of the fictional assassin revealing more of his back story when someone from his past returns. Common is rumoured to play a primary villain, which is describe as a head of security for a female crime lord.

Hot on the heels of the news that Chris Rock hosting the Oscars, the Golden Globes came back with an announcement of their own. Ricky Gervais will be back to host the awards show in 2016, marking his fourth time at the helm. The British comedian hosted the Golden Globes from 2010 to 2012. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the show from 2012 to 2015.

The series, which sees Campbell reprise his iconic role, is already coming off rave reviews due to its throwback to the cult classic.

The Pitch Perfect franchise seems to be in good hands now that Elizabeth Banks is confirmed to return to helm the third instalment. Banks who made her directorial debut in Pitch Perfect 2 will once again direct the comedy musical with stars Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson who are also confirmed to reprise their roles. Pitch Perfect 2 was a smashing success for Universal Pictures, pulling it nearly USD300 million at the box-office this year. Pitch Perfect is scheduled to be released sometime in 2017.
