Director Christopher McQuarrie has shared a new image from Mission: Impossible 6 showing both Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg. The duo who play Ethan Hunt and Benji Dunn are the cornerstones of the spy franchise. But the new film will have new players in the field, including Henry Cavill, which could suggest a new direction for Mission: Impossible in the near future. Joining in on the fun for this sequel is Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, and Alec Baldwin who are reprising their roles from Rogue Nation. Mission: Impossible 6 comes to cinemas in July 2018.
Golden Globes Gets Seth Meyers
Late Night TV host, Seth Meyers has been tapped to host the 2018 Golden Globe Awards. According to reports, Meyers edged out both Ellen Degeneres and Tiffany Haddish to front the upcoming award ceremony, which will broadcast on NBC. It will be interesting to see what the Late Night TV host will bring to the award ceremony, which is due to be held on 7th January 2018. Meyers previously hosted the 2010 and 2011 ESPY Awards.
Murder on the Orient Express Sequel
Despite not raking in the big bucks at the box-office, 20th Century Fox is still looking to move forward with its sequel to Murder on the Orient Express. Kenneth Branagh is expected to reprise his role as Hercule Poirot in the film, which will be based on another Agatha Christie novel, Death on the Nile. The follow-up effort centred on Poirot, who becomes entangled in a deadly love triangle while holidaying in Cairo, Egypt. No word yet on when production will begin on this Agatha Christie sequel.
True Detective Season 3 Moves Ahead
Although season 2 of True Detective didn’t pan out as well as it should have, HBO is still putting its back behind the series. With True Detective Season 3 being greenlit, many fans are now waiting in anticipation for what the new season will bring. Already, HBO has assembled a pretty impressive cast to front the new season, including Oscar-winning Moonlight actor Mahershala Ali and Carmen Ejogo who starred in Selma and Alien: Covenant. True Detective Season 3 will be based in the 80s circling around two missing children in Northwest Arkansas.

Producer Colin Trevorrow has released the first look at the upcoming sequel to Jurassic World with a short teaser for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. The teaser shows Chris Pratt with a little baby Raptor, which basically means no one, has learnt anything from the first film. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom comes to cinemas in June 2018 and stars Bryce Dallas Howard, BD Wong, James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Toby Jones and Jeff Goldblum.
