Netflix is helping shape the Marvel universe on television in a rather nice way. In addition to delivering the cutting edge Daredevil series, both Netflix and Marvel have also given us Jessica Jones. They’ve also introduced other heroes into the universe with Punisher and Luke Cage and now they’re introducing Iron Fist into the mix as well. The superhero martial artist will be played by none other than Game of Thrones actor, Finn Jones. It remains to be seen when Iron Fist will be introduced but it should be soon as he forms an integral part of the Defenders, which will be produced by Netflix next year.
Hellraiser: Judgement
The 10th chapter of the Hellraiser saga will introduce a new Pinhead according to Bloody Disgusting. No word yet on who will take on the mantle of the iconic character but A Nightmare on Elm Street actress Heather Langenkamp has gone on record to reveal that she has a cameo in the movie. Production for Hellraiser: Judgement is set to begin this year as the film is slated for release in 2017.
Dawn of Justice Runtime
With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice a few weeks away from being released, Warner Bros has finally revealed the film’s runtime. The superhero blockbuster will reportedly clock in 2 hours 31 minutes, which makes it slightly longer than Man of Steel. A longer runtime could cause the film’s storyline to suffer from a pace issue, depending on how Zack Snyder has weaved this film together. We’re secretly hoping that the time will be put to good use revealing the rest of the superheroes from the DC universe. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in Malaysian theatres on 24 March 2016.
