The LEGO Ninjago Movie is currently in development and the production has already listed its cast of voice characters for the animated film. According to the official release, Jackie Chan, Dave Franco and Michael Peña are some of the big names who will be in the movie. They’ll be starring as Master Wu, Lloyd and Kai respectively. Also joining the film are Kumail Nanjiani, Zach Woods and Fred Armisen. The LEGO Ninjago Movie is due out September 2017.
Tyrese Gibson Returns To Transformers 5
It looks like Michael Bay is putting the Transformers gang back together again. In addition to Josh Duhamel reprising his role as Captain Lennox and Mark Wahlberg reprising his role as Chad Yeager, Tyrese Gibson has also admitted that he will be joining the film as Robert Epps. The actor made the announcement during the recent BET Awards. Transformers: The Last Knight is scheduled to be released in June 2017.
Harrison Ford Returns To Voice Han Solo
Veteran actor, Harrison Ford is returning to voice iconic character, Han Solo in the new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens game. Despite being killed off in the last Star Wars film, Ford will once more take on the mantle of the beloved space pirate for the upcoming video game. Also featuring in the game are Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver and John Boyega who will be voicing their characters, General Leia, Rey, Kylo Ren and Finn respectively.
Netflix Orders Lost In Space Series
Lost in Space is getting a small screen reboot courtesy of Netflix. The streaming channel has issued a 10-episode series order, which will be based on the original 1960s television series. The Lost in Space series will debut on the streaming channel in 2018. Previously, the show was rebooted in the form of a feature length movie in 1998. As with both incarnations, the show will centre on the Robinson family who are forced to fend for themselves in space after being stranded light years from their intended destination.
Pacific Rim 2 In 2018
The highly-anticipated sequel to Pacific Rim will reportedly hit cinemas in 2018. This news certainly bodes well for fans of the film as Pacific Rim 2 has been plagued by numerous production issues. The sequel will see John Boyega (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) leading the cast in this the follow-up to 2013’s cinematic battle for global domination that took audiences to future Earth’s land, skies and seas and introduced an entirely new kind of warfare. Steven S. DeKnight takes on the directorial role for the film, which will be released in cinemas in early 2018.
