The gang from Welcome to the Jungle is back together again. Dwayne Johnson shared the first set photo of himself with Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black from Jumanji 3. Production is now underway on the follow-up to the smash hit comedy adventure from 2017. Jake Kasdan returns to helm the film, which will also star Awkwafina, Danny Devito and Danny Glover. No plot details have been revealed as yet but the film is set to debut in December 2019, which is just several months away.
Tom Holland To Reunite With The Russo Brothers

Joe and Anthony Russo will team-up with Tom Holland once more in a new film project. But this time around it won’t involve spandex or superheroes. Holland will star in Cherry, a true-life adaptation of the best-selling semi-autobiographical book by Nico Walker. The film will tell the story of an Iraq War veteran who returns home after the war only to find himself struggling with PTSD and opioid addiction. He eventually resorts to a life of crime by robbing banks, which gets him incarcerated.
Disney Rehires James Gunn

After his sensational firing for old controversial tweets; James Gunn has now been reinstated as director for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. The news should bode well fans of the series as the director will now close out the trilogy of the hit Marvel franchise. However, following his initial departure from production, Gunn was swooped up by Warner Bros to direct Suicide Squad 2. That project is still in play, but it would mean that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 will now start filming perhaps only early next year.
Jaume Collet-Serra To Remake Victory

The World War II sports drama, Victory is set for a remake with director Jaume Collet-Serra. The director of The Shallows and most recently Jungle Cruise will tackle the movie, which revolves around a football match played between allied POWs and the German National Team in Nazi-occupied Paris. The match ultimately conceals the prisoners’ real plan, which is to escape. Victory, released in 1981 was directed by John Huston and starred Michael Caine, Sylvester Stallone, and Pele.
Bollywood Is Remaking Forrest Gump

Academy award-winning film, Forrest Gump is set for a Bollywood remake. The movie will be titled Lal Singh Chadha and will star Indian superstar, Aamir Khan. Forrest Gump was directed by Robert Zemeckis and starred Tom Hanks as the titular character. The film was a massive success both critically and commercially with six Academy Awards including Best Picture and Actor for Hanks. Lal Singh Chadha is due for an expected release in 2020.
