It looks like there’s an insurmountable interest in The Walking Dead and eager to satisfy the masses, AMC is planning on bringing you a Walking Dead web series. Joining the successful television franchise will be Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462, which will be a companion series for The Walking Dead. In short, the companion series just got its own companion series.
The Walking Dead web series will feature 16-one minute episodes and will take place on board a plane where a zombie outbreak occurs; forcing the passengers to fend for their lives while the plane is in mid-flight. According to the official release…
‘Flight 462’ is a great extension of the world of ‘Fear’ and will engage fans across multiple platforms with another riveting story set at the start of the fall of civilization. We are thrilled to be collaborating with Dave Erickson and David Wiener on another piece of original content. Watching how they’ll bring one of these new characters to the second season of ‘Fear’ will be really exciting for viewers to follow.’
