The Twins sequel is finally moving forward with a new cast member joining the fray.
It’s been thirty years since we were introduced to the comedy Twins. The 80s comedy featured Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito starring as siblings who were long-separated. The comedy was greatly received when it first came out and is considered a cult classic comedy.
News of a sequel has long been gestating. And it wasn’t too long ago when news broke that both Schwarzenegger and DeVito were ready to reprise their roles as Julius and Vincent. Coming along for the ride was Eddie Murphy who would be portraying their long lost brother.
Now it has been reported that Murphy has dropped out from the Twins sequel. However replacing him is 30 Rock Star, Tracy Morgan.
After decades of waiting, Twins sequel Triplets is happening and will reunite Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito while adding Tracy Morgan as their long lost brother. According to director Ivan Reitman, the role was centred on a third baby being born. The brothers don’t know of his existence, and they haven’t met.
Reitman will return to helm the Twins sequel.
