MTV has announced its list of nominees for the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards. Starting today, fans can vote for their favourites across 26 gender-neutral categories on vote.mtv.com through Monday, April 17.
For fans in Southeast Asia, the show will air on May 11 on the Paramount Network channel at 9.15pm (unifi) and 10pm (Astro) as an epic, supersized Los Angeles takeover event at the Barker Hangar
Here’s a brief rundown of the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards Nominations:
Top Nominees: Scripted— Top Gun: Maverick (6), Stranger Things (6), The Last of Us (6), The White Lotus (4), Wednesday (4); Unscripted— Jersey Shore Family Vacation (2), RuPaul’s Drag Race (2), The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (2), Vanderpump Rules (2)
First-Time Nominees: Anna Torv, Austin Butler, Bad Bunny, Beatrice Grannò, Bella Ramsey, Cara Delevingne, Courteney Cox, David Dawson, Doja Cat, Emma D’Arcy, Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Jamie Campbell Bower, Jennifer Coolidge, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Joel Madden, Joseph Quinn, Justin Long, Keke Palmer, Madison Bailey, Maya Hawke, One Republic, Quinta Brunson, Rachel Sennott, Riley Keough, Rudy Pankow, Simona Tabasco, Sosie Bacon.
New categories this year include Best Reality On-Screen Team and Best Kick-Ass Cast. There are also unscripted categories such as Best Competition Series and Best Docu-Reality Series.
