Beloved fantasy film, Willow will be revived for a new series at Disney+. Warwick Davis who starred in the original classic will reprise his role as the Willow Ufgood with original director Ron Howard returning to produce. Willow, released in 1988 by Lucasfilm, has gone on to become quite the cult classic. The film set in the magical world of sword-wielding warriors, sorcerers and monsters also starred Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley. Jon M. Chu is set to direct the pilot of the show which will stream exclusively on Disney+.

Avatar 2 Post Reveals Edie Falco’s Role
An official Tweet from the official Avatar movie account has revealed a first look at Edie Falco’s character in the upcoming sequel. The Sopranos and Nurse Jackie star will take on the role of General Ardmore, the new head of RDA activity on Pandora. Fans will remember that Giovanni Ribisi played the corporate administrator for the RDA mining operation in the first film. The actor will also return in all four films that will expand the Avatar universe. Avatar 2 is scheduled to arrive in cinemas in December 2022.

The Furious and Furious To End With Two More Films
Brace yourself F&F fans because your favourite action franchise will end with just two more films. Justin Lin, who has largely been the custodian of the franchise having helmed several films of the franchise, made the reveal during a recent interview with Deadline. The films F10 and F11 will mark the closing of the franchise, which began in 2001. F9 was supposed to be released this year, before it was postponed due to the pandemic, will now hit cinemas in 2021. Despite the series potentially ending, fans can take solace in the Hobbs & Shaw spinoff, which is teasing to be an exciting action franchise of its own.

Once Upon A Snowman Trailer
Disney+ has lined up a new holiday treat for fans with Once Upon a Snowman, a new animated short that tells the backstory of Olaf, the beloved snowman from Frozen. The prequel sees Josh Gad return to voice the character in the film, which will follow the snowman as he searches for his identity in the snowy mountains of Arendelle. Directed by Trent Correy, who worked on Frozen 2 as an animation supervisor, Once Upon a Snowman arrives on Disney+ on 23 October.

Jared Leto To Return As The Joker
The Snyder Cut of the Justice League film, will see the return of the clown prince of crime portrayed by Jared Leto. The Academy-award winning actor took on the role in the Suicide Squad film but he has never reprised the role until now. Zack Snyder’s Justice League will see several reshoots take place, bringing to light the director’s original vision of the film. The production will debut on HBO Max next year as a special four-episode event. Snyder is currently putting together several reshoots with Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher and Amber Heard who are reprising their roles as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Cyborg and Mera.
