Starring alongside Hardy are Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, and Jenny Slate. Venom is due to swing into cinemas in October 2018.

The Last Jedi Tracking For Big Opening Weekend
Although the next Star Wars film is still a couple of months away, the next instalment is already tracking well for a massive opening weekend. According to estimates released recently, The Last Jedi is on track to close out its opening weekend to the tune of USD215 million. The Rian Johnson film is also expected to rake in almost USD750 million at the US box-office by the end of its run. Although the figures sound impressive, the next instalment of the new trilogy could come up short against The Force Awakens’ tally at the box-office.
Justice League Runtime Revealed
The upcoming Warner Bros/DC ensemble superhero film, Justice League will run just over two hours. This would make the film the shortest ever in the DC extended film universe. The film reportedly clocks in at 121 minutes, which is significantly shorter that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It will be interesting to see what directors Joss Whedon and Zack Snyder has created with this film and if Whedon’s significant reshoots can help salvage or turnaround the fortunes of the Warner Bros superhero franchise, which has thus far been less than stellar.
Logan Spinoff In The Works
With Hugh Jackman sheathing his adamantium claws for the final time earlier this year in Logan, FOX has already made plans to capitalise on the character. Although recasting the X-Men character has been considered, plans are now underway to capitalise on the events of Logan. FOX is looking to pull the trigger on a Logan spinoff, which will focus on X-23, who was revealed to be a daughter of sorts of Wolverine. Dafne Keen is expected to continue with the adventures of X-23, post-Logan, which could open up more appearances by other X-Men characters from the comic books.
