Alicia Vikander is set to return as Lady Croft with director Ben Wheatley set to helm the film. The 2018 film grossed just USD58.3 million in the U.S. but managed to rake in over USD216 million globally against a budget of USD100 million. That was probably enough for Warner Bros. to green light the sequel, which is due to be released in March 2021.
