The classic comedy, Three Men and a Baby, which centred on three bachelors having to mind a toddler, is set for a remake at Disney+. The streaming service has apparently tapped Zac Efron to star in this updated remake. The original film which was directed by Leonard Nimoy in 1987 featured Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson in the starring roles. It is unclear which role Efron will play or who will join him in the remake. Three Men and a Baby was a sizeable hit when it was released in the late 80s. It also spawned a sequel, Three Men and a Little Lady a few years later.

Tron
3 Moves Forward
A decade after Tron:
Legacy hit cinemas, a new sequel is now being planned to continue the
sci-fi franchise. A third Tron film
has been mooted for years but has failed to gain traction. However a recent
report states that Jared Leto has signed on to lead the next instalment of the
franchise with Garth Davis (Mary
Magdalene, Lion) set to direct.
Leto took to Twitter to confirm the news in which he also leaked the title of
the film, which is said to be Tron: Ares.
The sci-fi franchise began in 1982 with Tron, which saw a software programmer
who gets dragged into a virtual world. Tron:
Legacy continued that storyline in 2010, with Garrett Hedlund, Olivia
Wilde, and Jeff Bridges in the starring roles.

47
Ronin Sequel In Development
The 2013 samurai actioner 47 Ronin,
which starred Keanu Reeves as a Japanese warrior is apparently getting a
sequel. No surprise, its Netflix who are keen to develop the follow-up, despite
it being both a commercial and critical flop. The new film will see a new
director stepping in to take the helm with a storyline centred on a nee time
period. In the original film, a team of 47 samurai warriors ban together to
fight and defeat a powerful sorcerer. They all meet their peril eventually,
which explains why an all-together new storyline is being mooted.
Another
Slice Of American Pie
Fans of the raunchy teen comedy, American
Pie will be glad to know that there is a new instalment of the franchise. American Pie Presents: Girls’ Rule, is
the latest entry to the franchise in more than ten years. Arriving in Netflix
and direct-to-video, the film centres on schoolmates, Annie, Kayla, Michelle,
and Stephanie who decide to finally harness their girl power and band together
for the sake of their love lives. Judging by the trailer, it seems that
Universal Pictures has flipped the script on this new comedy, focusing on the
girls instead of the guys. The film is set to hit VOD and Netflix in early
October.
