The Rocky and Creed franchise will cross paths with the inclusion of Dolph Lundgren in Creed 2. The sequel will see the veteran action star reprise his role as Ivan Drago, which battled Rocky Balboa in Rocky IV. Lundgren shared a video of him getting in shape for the role. “Getting ready for something big! @officialslystallone #Creed2 #IvanDrago”, read the Tweet sent out by the star. It’s being rumoured that Drago and Stallone will cross paths with Adonis Creed facing Drago’s son in a match.

Xena: Warrior Princess Reboot is not happening
    Xena
Fans of Xena: Warrior Princess will be dissapointed to learn that the planned reboot of the series is officially dead. NBC has apparently soured on the project and will not be following through with its intention of reviving the hit series. According to a statement by NBC Entertainment, the reboot project was ultimately shelved due to creative differences between the creative heads tasked to see the project through.

    Wonder Woman Crosses USD800 Million
wonder_womannewWarner Bros and DC must be chuffed now that Wonder Woman has crossed the USD800 billion mark at the worldwide box-office. The figure is not only impressive because it’s a standalone superheroine flick but also because it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to make. However the Patty Jenkins film is still trailing a bit behind Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which currently holds the top spot in the DCEU with USD873.3 million worldwide. Wonder Woman hits 4K, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 19th.

    Ed Skrein Quits Hellboy Reboot
ed_skreinThe Hellboy reboot has just lost the talents of Deadpool star Ed Skrein. According to reports, the actor was supposed to have Major Ben Daimio, a member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.). However the British actor stepped away from the role due to the character being Asian. Whitewashing has been a prevalent issue in Hollywood, and Skrein’s departure is viewed as a positive step against this culture.
