Warner Bros has confirmed that there will be another instalment to the Matrix franchise with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss returning as Neo and Trinity. Lana Wachowski will be back as well to direct the film. It was initially rumoured that Warner Bros was considering rebooting the hit sci-fi series but now it seems they have settled on a continuation of sorts. We say of sorts because both Neo and Trinity bit the proverbial bullets in the final instalment of the trilogy. Production for Matrix 4 is set to begin in early 2020.

Stephen Amell Wrestles With ‘Heels’
With The CW’s Arrow coming to an end, star Stephen Amell has already set his sights on his next acting roll. From portraying a superhero, Amell is jumping into the squared circle with a role in wrestling drama, Heels. The actor will headline the Starz series playing a character who has ties in a family-owned wrestling business. Amell has previously dabbled in pro-wrestling, even wrestling for WWE and Ring of Honour on two separate occasions.

Michael Rooker Joins Fast and Furious 9
The Fast and Furious franchise just added Michael Rooker to the family. The actor will star in the ninth instalment of the film, which is currently in production. Rooker will star alongside Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron and John Cena in the film. Fast 9 has had to pad up its family of cast members following the departure of Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham who are now fronting their own F&F spinoff in Hobbs & Shaw. Fast 9 is currently in production at Universal, with a tentative release date set for May 2020.

First Look: Stardust
Musical biopics are being produced at a feverish pace following the success of Bohemian Rhapsody. Following Rocketman, which chronicled the life of Elton John, the newest biopic will centre on fellow music icon David Bowie in the film, Stardust. The movie will see Johnny Flynn portray the late musician and will largely centre on Bowie’s life and career as he embarked on his first tour of the U.S. in the early 70s.

Marvel Studios Confirm Moon Knight and She-Hulk Series
At the recent D23 convention, Marvel Studios confirmed that there will be a series based on the characters of Moon Knight and She-Hulk, which will debut on the Disney+ streaming service. No further details were provided following the announcement with the exception of the two logos that accompanied the announcement. Both She-Hulk and Moon Knight are secondary mainstay characters from Marvel, but still enjoyed somewhat successful solo comic book runs in the 80s and 90s.
