The latest Star Wars film has wrapped production and it now enters the post-production stage. Director, Rian Johnson shared a photo on social media showing him hard at work editing the film. Star Wars: Episode VIII will kick off after the events of The Force Awakens but no official synopsis have been released as yet. Stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac are returning for the sequel, which will come to cinemas December, 2017.

The upcoming IT reboot will debut a new Pennywise the Clown and he looks evil as hell. Directed by Andy Muschietti, the latest adaptation of Stephen King’s IT is decisively creepy harking back to what seems to be a clown costume from the 1800s.Bill Skarsgård is tasked with bringing this new version of IT to life and it remains to be seen if he can best Tim Curry’s version from the 90s TV mini-series. IT opens in September and also stars Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor.
Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly Reunite
If you loved Talladega Nights and Step Brothers then you’ll be stoked to hear that both Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are collaborating once again for another comedy project. The duo will star in Holmes & Watson, which will be a comedic spoof of Sherlock Holmes. Etan Cohen, who directed Ferrell in Get Hard with Kevin Hart, is expected to direct the film, which will hit cinemas sometime in 2017.
The Last of Jane Foster?
Natalie Portman’s time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe could be drawing to a close following the revelation that she won’t have a part to play in Thor: Ragnarok. Her omission could be a sign that there’s no place for Jane Foster in the greater scheme of things, especially as Marvel prepares for an onslaught of super powered beings. In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal the actress shed a little light on her status with Marvel. “As far as I know, I’m done. I don’t know if, maybe one day, they’ll ask for an Avengers 7 or whatever. I have no idea!”
Jared Leto Joins Blade Runner 2
Fresh off his recent performance as the Joker in Suicide Squad, Jared Leto has now set his sights on starring in Blade Runner 2. According to reports, Leto will have a key role in the long-awaited sci-fi sequel, which will be directed by Denis Villeneuve (Sicario). Harrison Ford will be reprising his role as Rick Deckard in the sequel but Blade Runner 2 will also benefit from the talents of some notable actors. Joining Ford and Leto are Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Lennie James, and Dave Bautista.
