It has been almost 25 years since Scream hit cinemas and reinvigorated the slasher horror genre. Now after four films, Scream is getting another sequel, which will reunite some of the cast of the original film. Neve Campbell is set to reprise her role as Sidney Prescott in Scream 5 but already confirmed for his big return is David Arquette who will reprise his role as Deputy Dewey Riley. Directed by Wes Craven and released in 1996, Scream revolved around a group of students who are slowly stalked and killed by a mysterious killer known as Ghostface.

Hanks’s Greyhound Goes To Apple TV+
The World War II drama, Greyhound
starring Academy Award winner, Tom Hanks is officially going to Apple TV+. The
film is forgoing it theatrical release and heading straight towards the
streaming platform. Apple TV+ reportedly paid USD70 million for Greyhound, making it the biggest film acquisition
it has made so far. Greyhound is based on a true story, revolving around a US
Navy Commander who has to fend off attacks from enemy submarines. Starring
alongside Hanks are Stephen Graham, Rob Morgan and Elisabeth Shue. Greyhound was originally due to hit
cinemas in late June.

Olyphant Joins The Mandalorian Season 2
The Disney+ Star Wars series, The
Mandalorian is adding some impressive star power to the series. The latest
name to join the series is Timothy Olyphant, who will reportedly play a former
slave turned sheriff of Tattooine following the demise of intergalactic
gangster, Jabba the Hut. Olyphant is the latest name to join the series
following Temura Morrison who will reprise the Bobba Fett character as well as Katee
Sackhoff who will portray the live-action version of the Mandalorian warrior
Bo-Katan Kryze.
Adam
Sandler and LeBron James Team For Basketball Movie
Both Adam Sandler and LeBron James will co-produce a new basketball-themed
movie called Hustle for Netflix. The
story will revolve around an American basketball scout who gets fired after he
backs a potential player from abroad. Undeterred, he decided to follow through
with his plan and brings the player with him back to the U.S. in the hopes of
securing a coveted spot for his man in the NBA. Sandler is set to star in the
film with James stepping in as a co-producer.

Muppets
Return On Disney+
Kermit and his Muppet friends are making a comeback, this time on Disney+ with
a new unscripted series titled, Muppets
Now. Scheduled to air on 31 July, the new original series will see familiar
Muppet characters make their way back to television since 2015, when they last
appeared in a short-lived series on ABC. The franchise had a bit of a
renaissance in the last decade with a pair of pretty successful film in 2011
and 2014. It will be interesting to see what Disney+ has in store for these
beloved characters.
