It looks like there will be a new Terminator series in the works but this time it will be in anime form. Netflix has announced that the sci-fi franchise will be adapted into an anime series by The Batman co-writer Mattson Tomlin with Skydance. It remains unclear which storyline the series will be based on because frankly there have been so many. In total there are now six movies and a television series. The new Terminator series is the latest anime series from Netflix, which currently includes projects based on Pacific Rim, Kong: Skull Island, and Tomb Raider.

Hello Kitty Is Getting Her Own Movie

The world’s most famous cartoon kitty will be getting her own movie. Sanrio’s Hello Kitty will be getting her own live action/ animation hybrid film thanks to New Line Cinema. The new project follows recent successes of Sonic the Hedgehog and the Tom and Jerry Movie. It is speculated the Hello Kitty movie will see the cartoon character being brought into the real world for her motion picture adventure. Hello Kitty has been a global phenomenon since it was created by Sanrio in 1974.

Hugh Grant Signs On For Dungeons & Dragons

The upcoming Dungeons & Dragons reboot is gathering more steam with two more players added to the cast. Hugh Grant and Sophia Lillis have joined the cast. Reportedly Grant will be portraying the villain in this reboot from Paramount Pictures. Lillis, famous for her role in IT, will be playing a character named Doric. The Dungeons & Dragons film has already assembled a stellar cast with Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, and Regé-Jean Page.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Joins Pinocchio

The role of Jiminy Cricket in the live-action Pinocchio film has been cast. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will portray the character in the film directed by Robert Zemeckis. Cynthia Erivo has also been cast to play the Blue Fairy. The film will see Tom Hanks as Gepetto, the kind puppet maker who creates Pinocchio. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will voice Pinocchio with Luke Evans playing the Coachman. The film will also see Keegan-Michael Key and Lorraine Bracco voice Honest John and Sofia the Seagull, respectively.

Black Adam To Start Filming Next Month

Cameras will finally roll on the DCEU superhero film, Black Adam. The film, which will see Dwayne Johnson take on the role of the antihero, is finally moving ahead after a year of development. The film will be based on the DC Comics character who is the archenemy of Captain Marvel. Black Adam will not just centre on the titular character but also introduce the Justice Society of America. Noah Centineo is set to portray Atom Smasher with Aldis Hodge taking on the mantle of Hawkman in the film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.
