For a film boasting some of the world’s most beloved superheroes, Justice League ended up as a bitter disappointment for most fans. Critically panned, the ensemble superhero film also sputtered at the box-office managing a worldwide total of USD656 million at the box-office. Although that figure isn’t bad, it still made Justice League the lowest grossing film in the DCEU. Presently none of the DCEU films have managed to break the USD900 million, which is disappointing as a lesser known character such as Black Panther has managed to break the USD1 billion barrier quite effortlessly.

Marvel fans will be in for a treat in the next couple of years when several new superhero-themed rides begin to open their doors in Disney Parks around the globe. Disneyland in Anaheim will be the place to be with a new Marvel-themed land, which will feature the Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout Ride. Disneyland Paris will also get a Marvel-themed area at Disney Studios Park whilst Hong Kong Disneyland will get an attraction built around Ant-Man, The Wasp, Captain America and Hawkeye. This new attraction will complement the current Iron Man Experience at the Asian theme park.
Shazam! Movie Logo
The filming of Shazam! is underway and now Warner Bros has revealed the official logo for the film. The new instalment of the DCEU sees Zachary Levi portraying the superhero. As far as the movie logo goes, the lightning motif is pretty apt for the character. But other than that, it is pretty run of the mill as far as movie logos go. There is quite a lot riding on Shazam! at the moment as it is supposed to help tweak the current fortunes of the DCEU, which has misfired immensely in both critical and financial form. Shazam! is expected to arrive in cinemas in April 2019.
Tessa Thompson Joins Men In Black
Sony is reuniting the stars of Thor: Ragnarok for its upcoming Men In Black spinoff. Tessa Thompson has just been announced to join the production, which will be directed by F. Gary Gray (Fate of the Furious). Thompson will join Chris Hemsworth in the film, which will be an extension of the Men in Black franchise with very little or nothing at all to do with the previous franchise. The film is currently in production with no release date pencilled in as yet.
