The Flash’s New Suit
The CW has revealed that Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will be sporting new threads in The Flash Season 2. At first glances, it would seem that the suit is identical to the current one with the exception of the logo which has now been replaced with the iconic red and white insignia seen in the comic books. The suit was first teased in a future setting in season one of The Flash where future Barry was seen sporting this new costume. Is The CW teasing where the new season of The Flash will be heading to? Looks like we’ll have to wait until early October to find out when The Flash returns for Season 2.
The New Bond Girl
SPECTRE is in no short supply of hot women with Léa Seydoux, Monica Bellucci and Naomie Harris but Agent 007 will also have a fourth lady in tow with Stephanie Sigman. The actress will be playing the mysterious Estrella, whose allegiances remain unknown. But we do know that Seydoux will be the lead Bond girl for sure with Belluci being a former flame of Bond himself. Harris will once again reprise her role as Eve Moneypenny, Bond’s trusty co-worker at MI6. SPECTRE opens in cinemas in November.
Terminator Franchise In Doubt?
Before Terminator Genisys hit screens, Paramount Pictures was gearing up for a massive relaunch of the franchise with plans for sequels in 2017 and 2018 as well as a planned TV series. However with Terminator Genisys suffering from harsh reviews and lacklustre box-office yield, it seems as if the studio is now experiencing cold feet and has admitted their initials plans are not a sure thing. The sequel is underperforming at the box-office and despite turning in a decent profit it has still fallen way short of its initial projections.
Pacific Rim 2 To Begin Filming
Good news for fans of Pacific Rim because the sequel is expected to start filming this November. The news is certainly surprising considering only the release date of the film has been announced, which is late summer of 2017. No plot details have been released and no cast has been confirmed either but Guillermo del Toro’s cameras will still go ahead and roll in Toronto this Fall. The Jaeger vs Kaiju follow-up is expected to be called Maelstrom, but that’s only speculation at this point of time.
