The Hellboy reboot is well underway and now we have a first image of David Harbour dressed as Hellboy himself. The first look was released on social media and it has been met with great response. Harbour is bringing his own take to the character but thanks to make-up effects, he does look like a younger version of Ron Perlman’s take on the character. Hellboy also stars Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane and Daniel Dae Kim and is slated to open in cinemas in January 2019.
IT Is A Hit!
Apparently audiences love clowns and horror as IT has secured a massive USD51 million dollar opening at the US Box Office and ultimately securing over US117 million to capture the top spot for the weekend. The Stephen King adaptation has scored well with audiences as well as critics as it retells the story of a demon-like creature who takes on a shape of a clown named Pennywise. The book was previously made into a movie in the late 90s, which went on to become a cult favourite amongst fans.
The Return Of Admiral Ackbar
It’s a trap! For a character than was best remembered for these threw words, Admiral Ackbar has certainly struck a chord with Star Wars fans. First appearing in Return of the Jedi, this calamarian-esque alien also returned briefly in The Force Awakens. Now thanks to Topps, it appears that the good general will once again have a role to play in The Last Jedi, which will hit cinemas in December 2018.

New Mutants Begins Production
Cameras are rolling on FOX’s new X-Men spin-off, The New Mutants. And judging by the teaser image released on social media, this is one superhero film that will apparently have elements of horror. FOX is apparently banking big on mutant kind as it will release Deadpool 2 as well as X-Men: Dark Phoenix that year.
John Wick: Chapter 3 Release Date
Gritty hardcore actioner John Wick will have a third instalment, which will be due out in May 2019. The franchise has become a big money maker for Lionsgate, despite its humble beginnings as a low budget actioner that helped revitalise the career of Keanu Reeves. But John Wick: Chapter 3 will not just be another film as director; Chad Stahleski is looking to expand the mythology behind the John Wick universe. Chances are Stahleski and Reeves may want to go out with a bang whilst expanding the franchise for possible spinoffs for Lionsgate.
