It looks like HBO is finally ready to pull the trigger on a Watchmen series, which will be helmed by showrunner, Damon Lindelof. The Watchmen comic book is considered by many as one of the most engaging pieces of literature ever produce with a hard hitting storyline that relates close to elements that plagued the world in the 80s. The Alan Moore book was brought to life by Zack Snyder in 2009 but it would seem that this new incarnation will be more closely related to the original source material due to the longer series format.

    First Look: The Front Runner
front_runnerHugh Jackman has revealed the first look at his next film project, The Front Runner. Directed by Jason Reitman, the film is a political drama based on the best-selling book. Jackman stars as Gary Hart, a Democratic Senator who is earmarked for a 1988 run for the Presidency when a scandal involving an extra-marital affair with an actress virtually forces him to fall out of the running. The Front Runner also stars J.K. Simmons and Vera Farmiga.

Chris Pine Is The Outlaw King
outlaw_kingsChris Pine’s next outing in front of the camera will be far removed from anything the actor has done in the past. Pine is currently filming David Mackenzie’s Outlaw King, a period drama about the legendary King of Scots, Robert the Bruce. The Netflix production is currently undergoing principal photography in the UK and will be released on the streaming service sometime in 2018.

    Escape Plan 3
escape-planAlthough we haven’t seen Escape Plan 2, work has already begun on Escape Plan 3. The sequel will apparently have a linkage back to the franchise and will see both Sylvester Stallone and Dave Bautista. Titled Escape Plan 2: Devil’s Station, the film will see Ray Breslin (Stallone) and Trent DeRosa (Bautista) joining forces again in order to rescue one of their team members who are held captive at the penitentiary known as Devil’s Station, a prison where no one ever gets out.

    Maze Runner 3: Death Cure
maze_runner3After being delayed due to injury sustained by its lead actor, we now have a first look at the third instalment to Maze Runner. The first photo release sees Dylan O’ Brien leading what appears to be a mob. According to the official synopsis of the film, Maze Runner 3: Death Cure, will conclude the saga with Thomas leading his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all.
