The biggest monster cinematic showdown will hit cinemas in 2020 with Godzilla vs Kong. As filming commences on the epic film, we now have the official synopsis of the film. The 4400 Gets A Reboot
The 2000 sci-fi series, The 4400 is getting a reboot at The CW. The original series which ran for four seasons told the story of 4400 young adults who went missing throughout the course of human history. The original series starred Mahershala Ali, Jacqueline McKenzie and Joel Gretsch. The CW is looking to give the series a slightly update reboot, which seems to be the trend at the channel following their recent rehashes of Charmed and Dynasty.
Pedro Pascal Leads The Mandalorian
The new Star Wars live-action series, The Mandalorian has found its lead and its none other than Pedro Pascal. The actor should fit nicely in this new Star Wars adventure after all he is no stranger to leading a series thanks to his work in Narcos. It will be interesting to see how The Mandalorian turns out now that it has a great lead and the talents of Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni (Star Wars Rebels), Taika Waititi, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, and Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones) directing episodes. The series will air exclusively on Disney+.
Jack Reacher TV Series
It looks like we’ve seen the last of Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher as the Paramount Pictures action franchise will now be redeveloped into a TV series instead. Author Lee Child made the announcement during a recent interview citing that the franchise will now be adapted for the small screen with a new actor in the titular role. Jack Reacher was a decent sized hit for Paramount with a pair of films that grossed over USD380 million worldwide.
Game Of Thrones Returns April 2019
HBO has announced on Tuesday (11am Eastern Standard Time), that Game of Thrones will return in April 2019. The six-episode eighth and final season of the hit HBO Original series will premiere in Asia, same time as the U.S., exclusively on HBO (Astro Ch 411 / 431 HD). The series will also be available on HBO On Demand (via Astro Go). In light of the news, HBO released a new #ForTheThrone teaser trailer, which can be viewed here.
