ABC has announced that Kimmel will return for next year’s award ceremony, which is scheduled to be held in March 2018. The host did a decent job at this year’s Oscars with his dead pan humour and continuous side gags poking fun at Matt Damon. However, Kimmel’s performance was overshadowed by the infamous flub during the Best Picture presentation, where the wrong movie was awarded as the victor.
