It looks like Harry Potter fans have something to look forward to as Warner Bros. has confirmed that Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be a franchise of its own. In a recent J.K Rowling confirmed that the Harry Potter spin-off will be the first of five movies. This is of course dependent on how well the film does at the box-office. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is directed by David Yates and stars Eddie Redmayne along with Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Carmen Ejogo, and Ron Perlman. The film opens in mid-November.
Black Panther Adds Forest Whitaker
Marvel’s Black Panther project is shaping up to be a sizeable affair following the addition of a number of big stars. Recent additions such as Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya and Florence Kasumba have ensured that the superhero film is not short on acting talent. According to reports, Whitaker is expected to play Zuri, an elder statesman of Wakanda. Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman. The film is expected to open in February 2018.

Netflix has released the first official trailer to their latest Marvel superhero flick, Iron Fist which brings to life the iconic martial arts hero. Finn Jones portrays billionaire Danny Rand returns to New York City after being missing for several years. Upon his return, he soon wages a war with a criminal organisation with his kung-fu mastery and superhuman ability. Iron Fist also stars essica Henwick, Lewis Tan, David Wenham, Tom Pelphrey and Jessica Stroup and is set to premiere on Netlfix on 17th March 2017.
Benicio Del Toro Drops Out Predator
Bad news for Predator fans because Benicio Del Toro has apparently dropped out from the lead role of the new film being directed by Shane Black. This naturally leaves a big gap for 20th Century Fox to fill, but the studio is already looking for a potential replacement. Reports claimed that Narcos star Boyd Holbrook is now in the lead to replace Del Toro in the film. Presently, The Predator is pencilled in for a February 2018 release date.
Amber Heard Revealed As Mera
The Justice League film is set to introduce a number of characters from the extended DC Universe. Although some of these characters may be taking a step back to make way for more popular heroes, some of them will be introduced as a lead into bigger roles in standalone films in years to come. One such character is Mera, who is a key character in the Aquaman universe. Played by Amber Heard, Mera will have a role to play in Justice League and Warner Bros. is only too happy to share the first official look at the Atlantean warrior.
