It looks like Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Dolittle film has run to some problems. After being pushed back almost a year from its original release, it’s now being reported that the film is currently being retooled with additional reshoots. Doctor Dolittle is a remake of the 1967 film, which starred Rex Harrison and tells the story of a doctor who can speak to animals. Eddie Murphy delivered a remake of the film as well in the late 90s. Universal has a lot riding on this new film, which reportedly cost USD175 million to make. The film is now pegged for a January 2020 release.
