Fans of the Bourne franchise will be pleased to know that there is a new series based on the film heading to the small screen soon. Treadstone, will tackle the origin story of the franchise focusing on the CIA black ops program that turns secret agents into killing machines. The series follows sleeper agents across the globe as they’re mysteriously “awakened” to resume their deadly missions. Production on Treadstone is set to begin in early 2019.
New Spock Cast
Star Trek Discovery will see a new actor portraying Spock in the upcoming season. The new Star Trek series, as you know, will see the crew cross paths with the Enterprise led by Captain Pike (Anson Mount) in the new season. Ethan Peck is set to star as the famous Vulcan, who as fans of Discovery will know is the half-brother of lead character, Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green). As for how big a role, Spock will play in the new season remains to be seen as Star Trek Discovery is scheduled to warp back to CBS All-Access and Netflix in early 2019.
Mark Hamill Joins Knightfall
The world’s most famous Jedi is joining History’s Knightfall for its second season. The series, which focuses on the Templar knights, will see Hamill play Talus, a battle-hardened Templar Knight, a veteran of the Crusades. Joining the veteran actor in the upcoming season are Tom Forbes and Genevieve Gaunt who will portray Prince Louis and Isabella, children of King Philip. History has not given a timeline of when the new second season will arrive on the channel.

The Bowery King meets Winston in the new image from John Wick 3. The photo was shared on the film’s official Twitter page with the caption: ‘Old Friends. New Enemies.’ The upcoming film, officially titled John Wick 3: Parabellum, will draw an end to the story arc of John Wick, and mark the end of the trilogy. Both characters in the new photo are important pieces to the franchise. Ian McShane’s Winston and Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King have helped the hero in the past but they may be on the opposite ends of the spectrum as Wick (Keanu Reeves) is hunted down for breaking a cardinal rule of the Continental.
Wes Anderson Reveals New Project
One of the most unique filmmakers of all time, Wes Anderson will be bringing his story-telling perspective for a new musical set in post-WW2 France. According to recent reports, the Wes Anderson film will begin shooting in France early next year. Filming will last for approximately several months with the film likely arriving in cinemas sometime in 2020. No plot details have been revealed but regular collaborators such as Bill Murray will have a role to play in some capacity.
