The next instalment to the James Bond franchise, No Time To Die, has officially wrapped production. Director Cary Fukunaga and star Daniel Craig sent out a tweet and a photo announcing the news. The 25th Bond film will see Craig channel the iconic fictional superspy for one last adventure. The film will revolve around Bond coming out of retirement to help his old colleague Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright), from the CIA, to stop a dangerous new threat. Rami Malek is playing the big bad in this film, which will also see Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw return as Moneypenny, M and Q respectively.

Gemini Man Facing A USD75 Million Loss
The Will Smith actioner, Gemini Man, which sees an assassin taking on his younger self is facing a USD75 million loss. The film, directed by Ang Lee, failed to find an audience when it was released last week, garnering only USD118 million at the box-office. Although 100-plus million is still a sizeable sum, the film reportedly cost Paramount, Skydance, Fosun, and Alibaba USD140 million to make plus an additional USD100 million for marketing. This would mean that Gemini Man would have some ways to go at the box-office just to break even.

    Ghostbusters 2020 Officially Wraps
Director Jason Reitman has announced that Ghostbusters 2020 has officially wrapped production. Reitman posted an on-set photo on his Instagram account with stars of the new sequel confirming the news. The new film is said to be a direct follow-up to the original Ghostbusters film, which was directed by his father Ivan Reitman. The new film stars Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor, Carrie Coon and Paul Rudd. Original cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts are also returning. Ghostbusters 2020 comes to theatres in July 2020.

The Rise of Skywalker Is 155 Minutes Long
The final chapter of the new Star Wars is upon us and it promises to be a truly epic affair. But the finale is also notching up numerous records along the way, one of which is racking up the most number of advance ticket sales in a day. The Rise of Skywalker will also arrive as the longest Star Wars film to date, with a run time of 2 hours and 35 minutes  (155 minutes), edging out The Last Jedi by a full three-minutes. The runtime should be sufficient to tie up all lose ends with the franchise before Disney and Lucasfilm set off on a new series of adventures and characters for the future.

    Cardi B Joins Fast & Furious 9
The cast of the Fast & Furious 9 seems to be ever expanding. The ninth instalment has just signed on Cardi B to the film. Vin Diesel shared the news on social media confirming the rapper’s appearance in the upcoming sequel. The film has been in production since June with a number of new places joining the F&F family including WWE Superstar, John Cena. Fast & Furious 9 also stars Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and Jordana Brewster. The film is set to head to cinemas in May 2020.
