The adaptation of the hit video game, The Last Of Us will premiere the same time as the U.S. on Astro. Fans can catch the new live-action series from 10am, 16 January 2023 on Astro via On Demand and Astro GO.
Fans can also catch the encore on the same day at 10pm, on TV via HBO (Ch 411 HD). In addition to The Last Of Us airing on Astro, fans can also catch the series on HBO GO.
The Last of Us, takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor who is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal and heart-breaking journey as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
Led by a star-studded cast, the series features Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Anna Torv as Tess and Nico Parker as Sarah. The series is written and executive produced by Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin.
The Last of Us is based on the critically acclaimed video game of the same name developed by Naughty Dog exclusively for the PlayStation platforms. Check out the trailer here.
