Jaeger-LeCoultre and Finch & Partners announce their collaboration in the production of an original photographic exhibition showcasing ‘The Art of Behind The Scenes’. The Vernissage will be held at the Hôtel du Cap (Antibes) on May 15th 2015, coinciding with the annual Cannes Film Festival.
The exhibition will showcase photography by some of the world’s most accomplished ‘on-set’ photographers. Jaeger-LeCoultre and Finch & Partners are celebrating this visual art of photography, giving fans the opportunity to travel back and rediscover some legendary films as well as iconic directors and actors. Many of the images are extremely rare and some have never been exhibited before. Each photograph has been specially curated by photographic expert, John Ingledew.
Most importantly, ‘The Art Of Behind The Scenes’ lifts the veil behind the world of cinema, offering fans an unprecedented access to legendary films and actors as well as honouring the numerous individuals involved in the production of a film.
From actor to director, cameraman to editor, costume designer to sound recordist and film score composer to set photographer, each tells their part of the story and contributes to the final product in a unique and important way. It is this artistic ingenuity and the importance of the visual art of photography that Jaeger-LeCoultre and Finch & Partners will celebrate with this exhibit.
