AXN, the globally known general entertainment channel owned by KC Global Media Asia, today, announced the premiere of the Alex Rider TV series – an adaptation from international best-selling novel turned TV series by Anthony Horowitz.
Played by Otto Farrant, Alex Rider is the story of an ordinary London-based teenage boy dragged unwittingly into the dangerous and morally compromised world of international espionage – a reluctant hero forced to become an agent for the British government.
Pressured to investigate his uncle’s mysterious death which catapulted him into a new world, Alex is forced to assume a fresh identity to go undercover in a remote boarding school called Point Blanc in the French Alps.
\Other than Otto Farrant, other stellar casts of the TV series include Stephen Dillane as Alan Blunt, chief executive of the Special Operations division of MI6, Brenock O’Connor as Alex Rider’s best friend, Tom Harris, and Vicky McClure as Mrs. Jones, deputy head of Special Operations division of MI6 and Alex Rider’s handler.
Alex Rider premieres on 30 March, Tuesdays at 9.45pm, first and exclusive on AXN in Malaysia.
