It’s been a while since we’ve seen Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo on screen. The beloved characters have leapt from the pages of comic books to film, TV and video games. Now, the fab four return in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
Seth Rogen is producing this new adventure alongside collaborators Evan Goldberg and James Weaver. Directed by Jeff Rowe and Kyler Spears, the new adventure sees a new generation of heroes rising from the sewers.
After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is produced by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies. The film will arrive in cinemas this August. Check out the first trailer here.
