From now till 30 October 2019, Taylor’s University will be taking in short film submissions for their inaugural film festival known as TUFF (Taylor’s University Film Festival) contest. This marks another positive for the realm of film and entertainment as it provides another platform for emerging talents and enthusiasts to present their creative works.
Split into two categories namely Best Student Film and Best Emerging Filmmaker, the contest is open to students and individuals from Malaysia and neighbouring countries who harbour dreams of becoming filmmakers.
Industry experts will be judging entries for both categories, and awards will be presented at the finale on 22 November 2019. Not only that, but selected films will also be screened at Taylor’s Lakeside campus, accompanied by workshops and film forums.
