We’re still undecided on what exactly the Venom movie is about. If it’s not directly connected to the Spider-Man universe, this may well be 2018’s version of Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four.

After X-Men: Apocalypse, the mutant franchise is in dire need of retooling. Dark Phoenix could provide the building blocks to a right the way for the X-Men franchise (as long as they don’t replicate The Last Stand).
DECEMBER

Sony is bucking the trend and giving fans an all-new Spider-Man animated adventure, this time with Miles Morales as your friendly neighbourhood web crawler.
