Eastern Air Lines has announced their partnership with Paramount Pictures in connection with the release of this summer’s highly anticipated movie Star Trek Beyond. In celebration of the movie release from Paramount Pictures, Skydance, Bad Robot and Perfect Storm Entertainment, the Miami based air carrier has wrapped an Eastern 737-700 aircraft with Star Trek Beyond imagery.
The plane officially took to the skies flying the cast, filmmakers and special guests from Los Angeles to the movie world premiere in San Diego last month. In addition to providing the special charter service flight to the premiere for VIP guests, Eastern’s official StarTrek Beyond 737 Next Generation aircraft also made a second trip to the premiere loaded with the film’s fans attending the massive event on the eve of Comic-Con.
Presently, the carrier is also offering Star Trek Beyond special promotions through their website and social media channels. “It’s great to see another long standing established brand like Eastern Air Lines getting an amazing reboot, and aligning with another storied franchise like Star Trek,” commented LeeAnne Stables, President of Worldwide Marketing Partnerships & Licensing at Paramount Pictures. “And, of course, all our guests are looking forward to their ride to the movie premiere on the big 737 outfitted with all first class seats!”
