Animated short titled LAVA will be tacked on with Pixar’s next animated feature Inside Out.
Fans of Pixar will be in for a double treat when they watch Inside Out, in cinemas next year. The Disney•Pixar original movie, this time takes audiences to the most extraordinary location of all—inside the mind.
But before we go on that epic mind-bending journey, the boys and girls at Pixar Animation Studios will take us to an island instead. A volcanic island to be specific in the animated short titled LAVA.
Inspired by the isolated beauty of tropical islands and the explosive allure of ocean volcanoes, LAVA is a musical love story that takes place over millions of years. James Ford Murphy tackles the reigns of this musical project with Kuana Torres Kahele serving as narrator.
LAVA opens in June 2015, in front of Inside Out.
