Grammy Award-winning artist, Billie Eilish has released the new theme song for film No Time to Die, the latest James Bond film. The theme will accompany Daniel Craig’s last outing as agent 007, which is incidentally the fifth outing for the actor.
Eilish is in good company, joining artists such as Paul McCartney and Shirley Bassey who have performed for the fictional British secret agent in 25 films to date. The song seems a perfect fit for the new film, seeing that it marks the culmination of the story arc of Craig’s Bond that began with Casino Royale in 2006.
As for Eilish, the artist is coming off a hot streak with her five Grammy Awards including a pair for Best New Artist and Album of the Year.
No Time to Die picks off with Bond in retirement after having left active service. His peaceful and tranquil life in Jamaica is interrupted when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) from the CIA turns up asking for help.
However, the mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
Joining Craig and Wright in No Time to Die are Ana de Armas, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, and Lashana Lynch. Look for this new Bond adventure in cinemas this April.
