We haven’t even seen the trailer for Terminator: Genisys yet but that hasn’t stopped Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions from planning a couple more Terminator films.
Set to be released in 2017 and 2018 respectively, the sixth and seventh Terminator films in the franchise will toe the line and follow the path set by Terminator: Genisys. This is considered unprecedented for a studio to plan such a move for a franchise, or is it just blind fate on the upcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger actioner.
Terminator: Genisys will evidently reboot the series and basically set the franchise on a new path. It is unknown at this point if Schwarzenegger will return for the sequels but it’s widely expected that Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney will reprise their roles as Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese.
Terminator: Genisys is scheduled for a July 2015 release.
