Get ready to jump headfirst into the Spider-Verse this June. In anticipation of the follow-up to the hit animated sequel, Sony Animation has offered a new look at Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, with a new trailer.
Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga. This new epic adventure will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse. Here, he joins forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People. But its not all fun and games because they soon have to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.
Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson take over directorial duties for the sequel with Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and David Callaham providing the screenplay. The sequel will also see many original cast returning to voice the fan favourite characters.
As seen in the new Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse trailer, Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld and Jake Johnson are back as Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy and Peter B. Parker. The cast is rounded up by Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone and Shea Whigham. Oscar Isaac has also joined the cast voicing Spider-Man 2099.
Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse swings into cinemas on 2 June 2023. The third film, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse releases in late March 2024. Check out the trailer below.
