Top Gear America has named the three men who will front the new series on the subscription streaming service MotorTrend. The guys who will be leading the show are Dax Shepard, Rob Corddry, and Jethro Bovingdon.
Both Shepard and Corddry are recognisable names in comedy with both men featuring in a number of movies and television series in recent years. Shepard recently starred in the big screen adaptation of CHIPS whilst Corddry was a co-star on the hit HBO series, Ballers, with Dwayne Johnson in the lead.
Bovingdon on the other hand is a seasoned host and driver who has appeared in a number of shows on MotorTrend. Joining the three men is the mysterious Stig. Top Gear America will be directly based on the hit British series, but the format may likely change due to the streaming format as well as the stateside audiences. The series will premiere in Spring 2020.
