Moviegoers in Ipoh will have a new place to catch their favourite flicks with the opening of MBO AEON Midtown Falim. With an investment of over RM14 million, this will be MBO’s 27th outlet in the country and it features two unique viewing concepts, KECIL and BIG SCREEN, both of which are being introduced for the first time in the city.
Unique Viewing Concepts at MBO Falim Ipoh
MBO’s Kecil hall now allows children to run free and have fun watching child friendly movies with comfortable sofa bed, bean seats and built-in playground. The first hall concept in the northern region dedicated to cater to parents and children also offers convenient diaper changing rooms for easy access and softer audio and brighter lights for ease of mind.
MBO’s Big Screen hall maximizes the cinematic experience with one of the largest screens in Ipoh. The hall can comfortably seat 300 moviegoers. A delight for those who love watching movies on the big screens, MBO is going with the size does matter tag by introducing one of the largest screens in Ipoh with their own Premium Large Format screen for an impactful experience.
High Tech Features
The cinema hall is equipped with state-of-the-art technology courtesy of MBO’s partnership with BARCO and DOLBY ATMOS®. BARCO, the flagship laser RGB projector, which is also the first of its kind in Malaysia, brings advanced image quality to the big screen with outstanding brightness, high contrast, and superior colour performance.
MBO Falim offers six standard halls on top of the two special concept halls. Combined the cinema offers a total of 1169 seats.
