Fans of legendary director John Woo are in for a treat as he returns to helm Lionsgate’s Silent Night. A renowned name in Asian cinema and film, Woo is best known for some of the best action films ever made such as A Better Tomorrow (1986). He has also garnered acclaim in the west with films such as Face-Off (1997).
Woo however has not helmed a film since 2017’s Manhunt, an Asian production. This year though, the director makes a long-awaited return to the director’s chair with Lionsgate. Silent Night also marks his first Hollywood film since Paycheck (2003).
