Spurred on by the success of The LEGO Movie, LEGOLAND Parks will now be receiving their very own LEGO Movie 4D Ride. According to reports, Merlin Entertainments will be releasing the 4D animated film based on The LEGO movie, which is currently in the works for LEGOLAND Parks and LEGOLAND Discovery Centres across the globe.
According to the release, the LEGO Movie 4D experience will involve elements like wind, water, smoke and special lighting effects to enhance the film which will see “Emmet and Wyldstyle back together with their friends for another awesome adventure.”
It is unknown at this time if the LEGO Movie 4D ride will have the same team as The LEGO Movie on board as well as Phil Lord and Chris Miller but production timelines point to the film hitting LEGO theme parks in North America, Asia and Europe later this year.
There’s also never been a better time to be a LEGO fan with several LEGO-themed animated projects set to hit screens in the next three years.
