The upcoming production of Knives Out 2 is moving forward at Netflix with Daniel Craig returning as detective Benoit Blanc. The streaming giant is behind the new sequel will once again lay out another murder mystery.
Joining Craig in this sequel are Edward Norton and Dave Bautista. Both actors have secured roles in the film, but the scope or scale of their involvement is kept under wraps. Norton has kept busy with directorial duties on Motherless Brooklyn as well as collaborating with Wes Anderson.
He will next appear in Anderson’s The French Dispatch, which is due out later this year. Bautista joining Knives Out 2 is interesting. The former wrestler turned actor has already notched up an impressive resume with significant roles in major productions.
Bautista will reprise his role as Drax the Destroyer in Thor: Love and Thunder and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. He is also leading Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead on Netflix and will also co-star with Jason Momoa in the second season of the Apple TV+ series See.
Knives Out 2 is currently in development at Netflix. It does not have a release date yet.
