In the new romantic comedy, You People, a young couple madly in love have to contend dealing with the generational differences of their respective families. Jonah Hill and Lauren London star as a star crossed lovers who unexpectedly fall in love after accidentally meeting in an Uber.
However, things don’t go as smooth sailing as expected as they soon find themselves confronting societal expectations of their respective families. Eddie Murphy and Nia Long are playing the roles of the parents of London whilst Julia Louis-Dreyfus and David Duchovny play the roles of Hill’s parents.
The comedy of clashing cultures comes from Kenya Barris (Black-ish). You People also stars Andrea Savage, Rhea Perlman, Elliott Gould and Mike Epps. Netflix will premiere the comedy on 27 January 2023. Check out the trailer for a first look below.
