Another week and more offerings seems to be coming from iflix, Southeast Asia’s leading Internet TV service. This time, the company has announced that it has entered into a strategic agreement with telecommunications company, Digi Telecommunication Sdn Bhd (Digi). The deal will see Digi customer in Malaysia enjoy iflix’s world-class service.
In accordance with the agreement, Digi customers can now charge their iflix subscriptions (RM10/month for monthly subscriptions or RM8/month for annual subscriptions) to their postpaid or prepaid Digi accounts through integrated mobile carrier billing. Along with a seamless payment experience, Digi customers will additionally receive a 60-day access to iflix’s world class service, compliments of Digi. Further, customers who subscribe to an iflix monthly subscription plan will be entitled to an extra 1GB internet data quota to stream iflix on Digi’s network at no extra charge.

“With our partnership, Digi customers have the added convenience and ease of being able to pay for their iflix subscription via their postpaid bills or prepaid credit, eliminating the need for entering credit card details. In addition, Digi customers get 60 days to try the service without charge, which they can enjoy while streaming on Digi’s high-speed 4G LTE and 3G network whenever, wherever. To top it off, after the 60-day period, we are also giving customers who continue to subscribe for a monthly iflix subscription an additional 1GB of internet quota each month for free to stream iflix content up to 31 March 2016,” Thrane added.
