Fantastic news for iflix subscribers because the Internet TV service has just announced additional content partnerships with Paramount, STARZ and MGM. The all-star line-up demonstrates iflix’s continued commitment to offer subscribers the best selection of TV shows and movies in Southeast Asia.
Ever since its launch less than a couple of months ago, iflix has gone from strength to strength with unprecedented partnerships with the likes of Disney and many more. It’s most recent licensing agreement with Paramount Pictures will allow iflix to tap into the studio’s vast library, which includes classic and fan-favourite films, including global franchises such as Star Trek and Transformers, animated hits like Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda, and action packed movies like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Watchmen.
Iflix has also secured exclusive streaming rights in Malaysia and the Philippines for the wildly popular, Emmy nominated television series from Starz, Black Sails, and other hit STARZ Original series and TV programming. MGM’s classic franchises, such as The Pink Panther and Legally Blonde, cult classic films Fargo and Get Shorty and multiple Emmy-winning comedy Will and Grace, in addition to the studio’s newest international hit Vikings will also comprise part of the 11,000 hours of top television and movie programming available on iflix in Malaysia and the Philippines.
Having recently launched in Malaysia and the Philippines, iflix will roll out its world class service to additional key Southeast Asian markets, including Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam throughout 2015. Each subscription will allow a user to access the service on five Internet capable devices such as mobile, tablet, computer, or television set, for viewing anywhere, anytime.
