Meanwhile, the dystopian yet super-cool HBO Original WATCHMEN delves into an ominous future where the police are forced to wear masks to prevent criminals from threatening their families, and a complicated mix of heroes, vigilantes and villains struggle to gain the upper hand as the balance of power constantly shifts.
Last but not least, it seems few can resist the allure of magical worlds populated with dragons, demons, and dark histories. The twisted plots and mystical aspects of GAME OF THRONES still wield considerable influence among its fandom, and the critically-acclaimed fantasy drama from HBO, HIS DARK MATERIALS, draws new fans to an epic tale based on the award-winning, best-selling novels by Philip Pullman.
On a similar note, the popularity of FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD clearly shows that Potterheads of all ages still can’t get enough of wands and wizards.
